I learned about Quinine from a friend who had Malaria, but never bought any it for years. When I started doing fence building in the hot Sun of Florida, I started getting severe cramping. hell, I even... drank a couple gallons of water a day. A lady told me to buy Quinine at the drug store, which I did. It worked perfectly. When I heard Q was being taken off the US market I went to a few drug stores and bought them out of all they had at $10 per bottle of 100. I then had a few years worth but eventually ran out. This is not a medication I take every day. In fact, there can be periods of two or three weeks when I do not need to take it. I have night time leg cramping and it becomes significantly worse in wint...er when the temp dips close to 10C and lower. Summer time, I rarely have the cramping issue, so a prescript for 100 capsules often can last me an entire year. I have been using this med since I was 12 years old when it was offered as a product called Legatrin by Dr Scholls and could be bought without a prescription.
